Product Description: Bosch Nexxt 500 Series WFMC3301UC
- Outstanding Efficiency
Nexxt washers are the most efficient models on the market, reducing energy and ... water usage by over 72% when compared to conventional top-loading models. - XXTRASANITARY Cycle
With this innovative cycle, a thermostat-controlled, intelligent sensor heats up the water to 170º F and maintains the temperature for exactly 3 minutes. After killing 99.9% of most common household bacteria, the water temperature is reduced to a gentler 150º F to prevent clothing breakdown. The clothes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized with no damage to fibers. - ENERGY STAR Qualified
Your home will benefit from appliances that feature the Energy Star logo, which symbolizes that the appliance is significantly more energy efficient than the average comparable model. - Internal Water Heater
An Internal Heating Element heats the water to up to 155°F while a Digital Temperature Sensor continually monitors the water temperature. Bosch Nexxt washers deliver the most efficient and accurate water heating method for the selected fabric types. - SENSOTRONIC PLUS
The Bosch SENSOTRONIC PLUS package optimizes the wash process at every stage of the cycle. SENSOTRONIC technology senses load size, water level and temperature needs for superior results. Digital sensors care for all fabrics including wool, mohair and silk. This machine virtually operates at the touch of a button.

Cons: NONE!
After bad experiences with GE at my previous new home where the microwave went out and had to be replaced after one year of use, the dishwasher leaked water on my kitchen floor after one year and a half, three years later the heating element in the oven went out! I decided I would not buy GE again, and did my homework as to which product would give me the best efficiency. Bosch came out on top.
I have owned this washing machine since October of 2004 and I still love it! I have no idea as to what the other reviewers are talking about regarding the lack of cleaning capacity of the machine??????? I certainly HAVE NOT experienced this problem!! In fact, my clothes are cleaner compared to my old Capri top load machine!
As far as service, I did have a Bosch service person come out for my dryer. And again, NO, I DID NOT experience any issues like the other reviewers complain about the lack of service on Bosch's part!!! They came out and fixed the loose bolt with no problem (yes, it was just a loose bolt that made the rattling noise)! In fact the serviceman said that Bosch to him is like the BMW of appliances, which makes sense since Bosch makes auto parts for BMW, Mercedes, Porche, etc.
I love Bosch products so much that I have since bought their vacuum cleaner, refrigerator, 2 tankless hot water heaters, and a dishwasher. Not a single problem with any of them. Furthermore, I plan to buy their double oven, microwave, and cook top within the next year!
With that said, if you enjoy German engineering (even though the appliances are made in the USA) you will enjoy these appliances as much as I do. ...

Pros: Absolutely fabulous in all respects
Cons: none
I just had to take the time to post this opinion. It's rewarding after almost a wk.of intensive searching and reviewing on the internet all I could for a new front loaded vs. a top loader for which I only wanted to pay tops about 700.00.
hing?

Well it boiled down to this. I bought this engineering inovation from Lowes for $998.00 less 10% discount. Yep, then I got their 4 years extended warranty, total 5 years with the first being manufactures warranty. You know all about that.
The wife let me take a chance on the first load of my white underwear. I'll spare you the details but good grief, it came out like new shorts. Here's what I did and I told the sales people at Lowers this story. I selected the temp. boost, not the sanitize, and the bleach button only to the max. line, with high spin.
That was it. One hour and 42 minutes ( a bit long but worth it) I could not believe my eyes! We had a 12 yr old Amana with a hugh tub and had to soak underwear sometimes overnight and a few times two nights soaking before washing....and they were still not clean the way I like them.
This Bosch is some kind of experience. Hats off Bosch. Three thumbs up and I'll borrow a couple from you.
This kind of engineering needs appreciation. What can I say! BUY THIS MACHINE AND HANG THAT EXTRA OUTREACH.
I am SOO glad I went beyond my limit.
Hey, the wife and I and others have to life with this thing. I think I'll give it a pet name......I just wish I could afford two of them in case they went out of business in the next 10 years, I'd be covered.
Hey Bosch.........have you thought about making cars?...hybrid?....anyt
Put a steering wheel and wheels on this thing!..
