    Pros: Every song is unique, stunning

    I don't know what to say, she is amazing, I cant listen to this CD with out closing my eyes, and feeling shivers.

    I must have been celtic in another life for sure, because it all moves me so much! This album is incredible and very very inspiring and mystifying! Great compositions and a fantastic point of view on all the songs!

    All the music I have heard by Loreena McKennitt has been very uplifting. It is good music to meditate to. It is also music to make you think, or will bring a smile when you sit back and ponder exactly what she is saying.

    I enjoy Loreena McKennitt's music very much, however I was slightly disappointed in this CD. The songs are beautiful and well arranged but I terribly missed her harp playing which is barely perceptible on most of the tracks.     This is the most extraordianry album that has been done by a Celtic artist. I beleive Loreena had really made this beautiful. "Mummers Dance" is just so lovely and rumor ha sit that Disney is planning to use the song and another by Loreena in an upc...oming movie. Read more Less

    Celtic Music is Underrated

    I loved all the songs on this album although I never knew I had a taste for Celtic music. The music and lyrics are very relaxing and soothing and calm me whenever I'm upset or nervous. The main reason I bought the album "The Book Of Secrets" was bec...ause of the song "The Mummer's Dance" which I liked the first time I heard it. But, after listening to all of the songs, I found out I had more of a wider range of taste than I had realized!!! My favorite song on the album ended up being "Dante's Prayer" which is a very beautiful song. Read more Less

    THIS IS THE BEST ALBUM EVER!
    Ok, I'm calm.
    My favourite song is The Highwayman and my second fav is the Mummer's Dance
    But then again, I luv all the songs!
    This is my favourite album that she has made!

    I abslutely find this album to be the best by Loreena Mckennitt! By far the best! My favorite song of hers is Dante's Prayer(think that's right)because the molody is so inspiring and lyrics so moving. Then the Mummer's Dance - need I say more! Eh? K...ewl as ****! Read more Less
