More than a comedy

It's hard to lump this movie into the comedy section. There is plenty of humor, but it also includes drama and a disfunctional love story. I laughed, I cried, I empathized, and I got high! Serena reminds me of a few girlfriends I've had. David (pl...ayed by Luke Wilson) is a mellow guy who just wants to stay home and sell marijuana. When Serena (Alicia Witt) comes into his life with a bang dragging his unconcious friend Jennifer in the door accusing him of selling her bad drugs. A quick slap to the face from Tony (Andy Dick)brings her back to life. A wonderful but short role by Jack Black adds to the feeling that friends are more harmful than pot.
