Bonga

Bonga
Bonga started out as a football player with the Portuguese club Benfica. He entered music with a series of albums modernizing Angolan folklore, moving on to fusions of styles and poetry from all over Portuguese-speaking Africa and later other countries as well. His sound generally has a Zairean feel, but with relaxed Afro-Latin influences. He is currently based in Lisbon.
