Product Description: Boktai: The Sun Is in Your Hand

Game designer Hideo Kojima's latest creation is a Game Boy Advance game with a special cartridge capable of detecting levels of sunlight and modifying gameplay accordingly. Players take command of Diango, a vampire hunter, and begin a quest to save the world from hordes of evil demons. However, Diango is a much better hunter during the day, and daylight also makes his prey weaker. The game cartridge senses the level of sunlight depending on whether the player is inside or outside, and if it's a sunny day and adjusts the difficulty level accordingly. The world of Boktai is full of spiders, vampires, zombies, and other foul creatures, so Diango needs all the help he can get. Some of the enemies can be killed with a special "solar gun," but others have to be lured outside, into the sunlight. ~ All Game Guide

Pros: Great fun
Cons: can't play on cloudy days
When I first heard of Boktai I thought it was an interesting idea, than finally I got the sun in my hand, and loved it! Boktai is a nice change for video gaming, it is a real fun challenge trying to find skylights to charge your gun, a change from ki...lling enemy and picking up the ammo. Being able to costomize the solar gun from sun, to frost lens, or single shot to spread shot is great, and helps you constantly. The graphics are good, but could be better, sound is great, even has voice acting! The control is nice and solid, and it is one fun game to play! the only problems is not being able to play successfully at night or on cloudy days, but it makes the anticipation more intense, and no, a bedside lamp wont charge, I've tried it myself.It just makes the anticipation greater. Buy this game, it is a guarenteed fun time! My friend and I love this game, now my friend needs a copy, and so do you! Read more Less
