    This is not AIC, so don't expect AIC. This is, however, an EXCELLENT cd start to finish with solid grunge guitars, muted vocals, and solid rythym.
    Now, they need to get to releasin' his new double album!

    This CD is awesome. If you are like me and still love the music that came out of the Seattle scene...then you will love this cd. Great tunes, great voice. Trust me and give it a chance.

    This album is good for Jerry because it shows his musical diversity in his style and instruments (clavinet, piano, guitar, vocals). I still miss Alice in Chains, but this is good enough for now.

    if you're into cool and unrestricted guitar and vocal plays, jerry's boggy depot is a must. he is the embodiment of someone who knows his craft but is not afraid to border into something outside the realms of alice in chains.although critics often p...ut him in the shadows of his band/layne staley, this outing proves that he is more than alice in chains' guitarist.     This just goes to show that he is the most influential rocker of the 90's. This album has it all, from dizzying highs to gut-wrenching lows. It kicks you in the ass from start to finish.

    I'm a huge Alice in Chains fan, but Jerry Cantrell's first solo effort is nothing less than amazing. From the opening chords of "Dickeye" to the unusual sound of "My Song" (my personal favorite) to the final notes of "Cold Piece", this album is an o...verlooked masterpiece, and certainly didn't get the recognition it deserved when released. Jerry shows that he is truly the heart and soul behind AIC, and I anxiously await his second release this year... Read more Less
