Synopsis: Bobby (2006)
Synopis: A re-telling of the assassination of Senator Robert F. Kennedy at the Ambassador Hotel in 1968. The film follows 22 individuals who are all at the hotel for different purposes but share the common thread of anticipating Kennedy's arrival at the primary election night party, which would change their lives forever. Pros: Great Inspiration
Cons: the loss of Bobby
I needed inspiration and this movie energized me like I haven’t felt in so long. It’s a great look back at what could and should have been a turning point in American History, but it was stopped short on one late evening in the Ambassador Hotel in June of 1968. Emilio Estevez does a wonderful job of piecing together the lives of people famous and not, and the effect Bobby Kennedy had on their lives. The cast is one of the greatest in years to come together for this or any type of project, Anthony Perkins, Sharon Stone, Demi Moore, William H. Macy, Laurence Fishburne, Helen Hunt, Elijah Wood, Harry Belafonta, Martin Sheen and when I say the list goes on, trust me it does. These stars blend together like a fine wine and were a joy to watch. Buy, rent, youtube, what every you do watch this movie and see what was taken away from the American people.
Note: Make sure you watch the Special Features after watching this movie, Great back stories and Harry Belafonta remembers his work with the Kennedy's. ...
