Blessed by a Broken Heart is a mildly schizophrenic sextet hailing from Quebec, Canada, where they first started spicing their predominantly metalcore songwriting with tiny dashes of punk, new wave, and hair metal in 2002. Comprising members Hugh (vocals), Robbie (guitar and vocals), Simon (guitar and keyboards), Nathan (guitar), Tyler (bass) and Frank (drums), the group unveiled their debut album All is Fair in Love and War through independent Blood Ink Records, in 2005.
