Blender Bros. Game Boy Advance

Courtesy of Hudson, the company responsible for the Bomberman series, comes Blender Bros., a platformer starring a cute, long-earned protagonist called Blender. Humans have co-existed with creatures called "Animal-Men" for many years but, as time passed, the Animal-Men began to outnumber the humans. Now an anti-human terrorist group known only as the Zooligans wants to wipe all of humanity off the face of the earth. As the leader of the Cosmic Keepers, it falls upon the titular hero to defeat the Zooligans and save humanity.

Far from mere aesthetics, Blender's ears serve a number of vital functions, such as allowing him to grab items, hover for limited periods of time, climb ropes, bounce to higher ledges, and combat the multitude of enemies that populate the game's seven different planets. Spanning these numerous planets are 21 levels that house no fewer than eight bosses.

During his journey Blender will encounter 20 different Mini Bros., each of which imbues him with a particular ability. Aside from the numerous offensive uses of Blender's ears, he can also use them to find Mini Bros. scattered throughout the worlds. By pressing the L button, Blender can be made to "listen" for nearby Mini Bros. He lifts his ears and a red arrow appears indicating the direction of the closest Mini Bros. Ten of the Mini Bros. can be found within the game, while the rest can be purchased or evolved at the in-game shop. Alternatively, players can trade Mini Bros. with friends by linking two GBA systems together.

Breaking up the standard platform action in each level is a third-person, behind-the-back racing mode that requires Blender to speed through a specific area while collecting keys to prevent the planet from exploding. Two battery backup save slots are provided for players to record their progress.
