    the sound for bleed amarica was something that i was looking for for a long time. It brought back the cool sounds that i used to hear when i was in high school. The way it comes when the band just loves to play the music instead of wanting to be rich.... Obviusly money does play a contributing role in a rock band, but it seems to me that this band only uses that role as a function to keep doing what they love to do. Which is to play what they like. I say this is one of the best cd's that i have heard in a long time. One of the best things i have enjoyed on this album is the way they use off beat vocal and instrument colabaration. The ture artistic vibe and imaginative crativity shines thru out this album. The cool harminies in the vocals and they nifty guitar rifts makes this band one that i will keep in my cd player for a long time.. along with the s.p.'s simies dream and sunny day real estate.     One of the Best Rock albums from 2001!

    Pros: All Songs from "Blled American" are amazing!

    Cons: Flawless..Hard to think of a Con at the moment.

    Ok, this album is for everyone. It starts off with their hit the furious/loud "Bleed American", a song about gaining motivation to live life "A Praise Chorus", and their single about cheering up "The Middle". The songs f...rom "Bleed American" are all so superb and beautifully made, it has to be in everyone's CD collection. Make "Bleed American" one of your albums you'd take on a road trip. This album doesn't need any track skipping. It's fun and easy to listen to from beginning to end without any interruptions/track skipping. My favorite tracks are "A Praise Chorus", "If you Don't, Don't", "Here You Me", "The Authority Song", "The Middle", and "My Sundown". Their b-side "(Splash) Turn Twist" is on their vinyl version of "Bleed American" as well as in "The Middle" single. Love that song too. Love this album. Read more Less

    this album is really great, tracks really cheer me up, though its a normal punk rock band and kinda similar with Good Charlotte, but they put more hard beat within.

    this album kicks so much ass, every song is brilliant, but i think A Praise Chorus is the standout track. These guys do everything good, the beautiful ballads(Hear You Me), and the rocking songs(Bleed American, i think they call it Salt Sweat Sugar n...ow). This album deserves a plave in everyones home :) Read more Less

    This cd is cool, but i'm jealous that other people get to hear them. I liked it better when JEW was my own special band. But it's a good cd even if the middle is AlL OVER the radio

    Horrible mediocre college rock.

    The problem with all Emo: Nice guitars, but there is no real deep emotional power in those songs, everything remains on the surface.
    Those dudes don' t hold a candle to a really innovative band like Radiohead or Mr. Bungle.
