I think from a sorry excuse for an album from Ms. Spears has finally turned the other way around, she has apsoloutly made an awesome album!
I think this was a great come back.
And I think the album was awesome!
People who have written reviews saying this album was bad, I think they do not own the cd.
This cd has great hits including
Gimme More, Piece Of Me and much much more.
But as always I must display my rating on age. I think under 13 should not listen to the cd because of it's sexual lyrics and at one song language.
As for the inapropriat lyrics its the music voice and beat that are great. If you own this cd you will be wanting more .

Pros: Some decent Songs

Cons: Manufactured pop

OK - I am not really a fan of her music, but I decide to give this disc a try and it's not that bad.
There are some songs on here that just drag, but there are some good pop tunes on here as well. Gimme More, Piece of Me, Break The Ice and Freakshow are entertaining.
This cd has good music made to listen in a strip club, dance club, or if you're young dancing in front of the mirror.
Add another star if you're a big Britney Spears fan.

FIVE STAR ALBUM--OUTSTANDING COMEBACK

Pros: Good songs, strong vocal performance, FUN to listen to again and again

Cons: NONE

This is an outstanding comeback album from a major artist. Truly a triumph when you consider the magnitude of vindictive fan and media coverage and personal difficulties. These matters aside, when it came time to deliver, she did. The show must go on and it does in a big way here.

Track 1 "Gimme More" in it's opening line acknowledges the combative atmosphere present and Britney's intention to go ahead anyway. The song is strong and sassy, in it's own way pugnacious and stronly spirited.

Track 2 "Piece of Me" Strikes back at the ridiculous often destructive media frenzy that has surrounded and scavenged her. More than merely venting, this is a good song and I often find myself sing along with the chorus.

After these, she gets dow to the serious and FUN business of what she has always done best--singing songs that stick in your mind--most often about emerging boy/girl relationships and the magic attendant to their inception and consummation. Each one a significant artistic accomplishment and most of all moving and memorable.

If Cyndi Lauper was the poster girl for pro wrestling for then Britney should be the cover girl for the UFC--taking on some damage isn't the end of the fight. In this case it was exactly where it all begins.
