Black Box ServView III Monitor

Manage your data center CPUs or servers while making the most of available space with a ServView III. Designed for heavy-duty use, this rackmountable keyboard, monitor, and mouse combination offers the benefits of a high-performance, ergonomic workstation without requiring a lot of space. All three components are built into a drawer that fits in just 1U (1.75", 4.4 cm) of vertical space within a 19" (48.3 cm) rack or cabinet. The lightweight tray can be mounted at any height within a rack or cabinet to give you optimum viewing. Just slide the ServView III drawer out of its rack or cabinet, tilt up the multisync monitor panel, and go to work. It's especially convenient when you have to access computers that are installed in nearby racks.

When you're finished using it, simply fold down the panel and slide the unit back into the cabinet or rack. The front panel on the ServView III conceals it when it's not in use. And it includes not just any monitor. What you get is a large 19" liquid crystal display (LCD) that provides crisp video with up to 1280 x 1024 resolution and a 75-Hz refresh rate, and is VGA, SVGA, and XGA compatible. The flat, easy-to-view, color LCD takes up less space than conventional cathode ray tube (CRT) monitor screens. What's more, there's no screen flicker, so it's easier on the eyes. The monitor uses amorphous silicon (a-Si) thin-film transistors (TFTs) for the LCD, with light passing through filtered glass and liquid crystals to produce a clear video image.
