This album by far is one of Jay-Z's best and deserved a lot of the recognition and praise it received. After droppin' The Blueprint 2, Jigga had to come back wit somethin' to get his fans fully behind him again and he did just that wit prolly the definition of a retirement in the rap game. These are one of those albums you just gotta play the whole way through, don't skip through it.

THIS WAS ANOTHER HIT TO ME AND IT CAN BE CONSIDERED AS WILLIAM H. BEST CD'S EVER AND YOU WOULD HAVE TO BE A FOOL NOT TO LIKE IT. JUSTIFY MY THUG IS ONE OF THE BEST SONGS IVE EVER HEARD. This is a standard grade A classic rap album. What more can I say? If you love rap music (or u wanna learn to love it) this is a must have.

This album was average I knew that the Blueprint and Reasonable doubt Jay wouldnt last long honestly. He has 2 good albums and besides from vol 2, and this one his other albums are below average

This cd is insane. I'm pretty sure it'll be up for album of the year.. wouldn't that be something! Rap take album of the year two years in a row! Damn... I hope this isn't the end for Jay, but if it was he left as the best! "They call me HOV... H to the O V, I used to move snowflakes by the O Z"! I'm caught I'm not sure who the best rapper alive is now... Eminem or Jay-z...

Almost without a doubt his best album yet.The musical styles of Eminem and the lyrical talents of Jay-z are like gas and fire they are unstoppable.The force of each bass note is absolutely awesome.I highly reccomend this album for any Jay-z fan.The only thing that really sucks about this cd is when it ends (thank god for the repeat button).peace

ya boy done did it again. he's gifted. i listen to tha CD from front 2 back. to bad we wont here from the jigga man. this isnt my favorite album from jay-Z but i think it's one of the best albums that will come out for a long time. HOVA! HOVA! HOVA!

When people speak the name of great Hip-hop pioneers, most think Biggy and Tupac, Grandmaster Flash and Public Enemy. But to leave Jigga outta those grouping would be more of a travesty than the Bush Administration.
H.O.V. is the bomb. PERIOD. Lyrically, there is no one even close to the king, besides maybe Eminem for his crazy styles.
I own almost all of Jay's work on CD and I am honestly sad to see him retire from the music makin biz. He was a lyrical god among men... rather The JIGGA amongst a bunch of Chingy garbage!

THIS ABLUM IS RIDICULOUS, THE BEATS ARE TIGHT, THE RHYMES ARE CRAZY. JAY'Z HAS THE SINGLE BEST ALBUM OF THE YEAR WITH THE RELEASE OF THE BLACK ABLUM. FOLLOWING IN A SEVEN YEAR TRADITION, HOV HAS ONCE AGAIN BLESSED THE END OF THE YEAR. ALL THE HATERS NEED TO LISTEN AND TAKE NOTES BECAUSE WE MIGHT NEVER SEE ANOTHER LIKE HOV. HIS SPOT CAN'T BE FILLED NO MATTER HOW MUCH THESE "SO CALLED RAPPERS" TRY. PICK UP THE ALBUM, OPEN THE CASE, THROW IT IN YOUR PLAYER AND JUST PRESS PLAY, NO NEED TO SKIP OVER SONGS.
