    It's JUNK alright !

    I wasted my money on one of these things, the first time I used it to cut a pattern out of a 1" by 3/8" piece of poplar it wandered back and forth like some flimsily knife blade, no matter how slow I fed it into the work it would not stay n...ext to my cutting line. After trying to use it I found out that it's a piece of JUNK, I boxed it back up and took it back and got my money back although the sales person said there was nothing wrong with the saw, I asked him to use it and show me how good it was, he refused and gave me my money back. If your looking for a good jig saw do not buy one of these things, spend a little more money and get what you pay for, in my case I bought a jig saw from Northern tool for less than I paid for this JUNK and it's still going strong after almost a year of steady use.     Pros: The price and packaging was nice.

    Cons: EVERYTHING

    We bought this saw at our local Walmart, price $35. We are working on a house and this would be just fine for what we are looking for, or so we thought. I have had it now unopened for about 3 weeks. We finally open it and my brother in law said thi...s is just like mine. You might just want to return it now cause it is junk. Well guess what he was right. We were cutting paneling and it can not cut a straight line although we have never actually moved the feet to make it cut at an angle. The black plastic feet guides fell off with in minutes. The blade wouldn't stay in the saw and we kept having to tighten it. Overall a very poor product. I just boxed it back up and am looking for my receipt even as I type this out. I too read a couple of reviews, one said it was a good product and the other two said it wasn't worth the money. After buying it and using it and having BIL say the same things I have to agree I wouldn't buy another. Save your money and buy something else this isn't worth the time and effort it will take to return it once it fails, and it will fail. Read more Less
