    Any person who has ever picked up an instrument
    will want this CD. It is school. I have listened to this release since album days. I have worn out copies, and I have given away copies. It is beyond anything new one can buy.

    Still great!!

    While not as intense as their initial effort Birds of Fire is still excellent nonetheless. Overall, the playing is a bit more subdued than Inner Mounting Flame. One Word is my favorite on the album.

    A Beautiful Experience

    This album ranges from fast funk full of fiery instrumental pinache and obscure time signatures to soft atmospheric tunes with lilting melodies. The interplay between the musicans is great, especially between the violin, the moog and the guitar. A g...round breaking album that still sounds fresh even today. Read more Less
