Awesome! A definite Must-have cd!

Cons: not a one, except that there aren't more songs on the cd!

My favorite cd ever! I bought it after seeing Billy perform at my county fair. Before the show, I didn't really know who he was or anything about him, really, but once he started playing I was hooked! I love his music and his beautiful baritone v...oice. I honestly don't think I've ever been this excited by/for a performer before, especially someone so early in their career. "Walk a Little Straighter" is my favorite song - it's so moving and one of the most beautiful songs I'v ever heard, but I can honestly say I love them all. "Time With You" is another great ballad. "Off My Rocker", "Where the Girls Are", and "Growin' Up Down There" are upbeat, fun songs that you can't help but sing along with. "I Got A Feelin'" is a great one to jam to in the car - it rocks! All but one of the songs on the album was co-written by Billy, which is a definite plus in my book. I think one of the things I am most impressed with is how each song is so well written and performed that they are easy to latch onto. They all have a catch and very much in a good way. I never felt compelled to skip over a particular song when first listening to the cd. That's a rarity for me. With other artists, I have a tendency to need time to warm up to certain songs - not so with Billy Currington. I am so happy with this cd that I am anxiously waiting for his follow-up (which I hope will be arriving in the relative near future). I highly recommed this cd to anyone who is looking for an enjoyable listening experience. It's contemporary country music with traditional country sound at its best! The only downside to this cd that I've found so far is that it leaves me wanting more. After reading that he didn't originally want to put "Where the Girls Are" on the album because he didn't think it was that great, it makes me wonder how many other wonderful songs didn't make the cut.
