It is not really so surprising to have two musicians named Bill Johnson who recorded jazz on trombonethere are probably even more. Not to be confused with the veteran hornman who was featured with Count Basie and on various Motown sessions, this trombonist is a Texan who has been recording since the '80s. His collaborations include work with bassist Pete Peterson as well as the Dallas Jazz Orchestra.
