Down to a quartet, the guys in Restless Heart still have the highest Eagles rating in country music -- they get the vocals right almost every time, and "Blame It on Love" evokes memories of the likes of "Witchy Woman." Musically, not much changed for the members of the band: They still like a good train song, and they're more likely to show the influence of Bruce Hornsby ("Meet Me on the Other Side") and Creedence Clearwater Revival ("Born in a High Wind") than any of country's honky tonk heroes. Another song, "When She Cries," became one of the biggest crossover hits of 1992. Paul Gregg, John Dittrich, and Dave Innis (who left the group after the album's release, reducing Restless Heart to a trio) trade lead vocals; they blend well from song to song, though Dittrich sounds the most like Don Henley, but it's definitely those harmonies that make Big Iron Horses run smooth.
