Synopsis: Big Fish (2003)
Synopis: Edward Bloom (Albert Finney) has always been a teller of tall-tales about his oversized life as a young man (Ewan McGregor), when his wanderlust led him on an unlikely journey from a small-town in Alabama, around the world, and back again. His mythic exploits dart from the delightful to the delirious as he weaves epic tales about giants, a witch and conjoined-twin lounge singers. With his larger-than-life stories, Bloom charms almost everyone he encounters except for his estranged son Will (Billy Crudup). When his mother Sandra (Jessica Lange) tries to reunite them, Will must learn how to separate fact from fiction as he comes to terms with his father's great feats and great failings.Features: Big Fish (2003)

Pros: Well-written - superbly acted . . . awesome.
Cons: none
Great movie. Don't believe the negative review - must be a kid with no imagination or respect for a well-written, well directed movie with wonderful acting.
I had little or no desire to see this movie when it first came out, since I am not a huge fan of Edward Scissorhands or some of the other stuff Burton has done. This is BY FAR his best work to date. Heartwarming, yet full of wit and humor. I would definitely put this movie in my top 25 of all time, and look forward to seeing it again real soon. I am surprised it didn't get much of a buzz when it was on at the theaters . . .
Great movie - rent it, you will not be disappointed. ...
