John Shreve (nee Crawford) was the main writer in Berlin, but that band's synth-pop sounds nothing like the guitar-based hard rock of this outfit, which comes across as a second-rate version of The Cult. Shreve's sneering vocals lack distinction and Mark Christian's guitar parts are derivative. At this point, F stands for "Failure."
