Pros: balance, acting, action, cinematography

Cons: compromised storyline

In my opinion, of course: this was made into a love story but was really about how an individual can compromise ideals, perhaps creating more damage than construction. It could havebeen more interesting ...The acting by all was very good; except for ...Jolie, most of the cast was relatively unknown to me. Direction was very good although the editing could have been smoother, more poignant.Filmed where? Apparently on location in a third world country where poverty and disease was/is rampant. A diseased child, obviously undernourished is the center of several scenes. The impact of the locations is tremendous. The movie is ostensibly designed to create sympathy for worldwide poverty distress and the effects of war. A very good sit. Read more Less
