    It should have been a warning sign to Eddie when the original producers to the first two movies didn't hop on board for the third. Nonetheless, Eddie stayed on board and gave the public a very underwhelming third installment to the "Beverly Hills Cop..." series. Everything that made the series so successful has been eliminated in this movie. Where's the split-second characterizations? Where's the exciting soundtrack? No Taggert or Bogimil? You got to be kidding. I can understand the point of showing Axel has in a sense grown up but him growing up doesn't ensure laughs. The plot is weak and the movie turns out to be a 100 minute show of sheer buffoonery. Let's just pray that this is the last one. Read more Less

    This movie is awful!It isn't funny. It doesn't have the feel of the previous two films.The so-called plot is so weak, its last week.where are Taggart and Bogimil?Do yourself a favor, if you want to see a good Beverly Hills Cop movie, don't even waste... your time on Cop 3 and get parts 1 and 2.     This wa sthe worst film that Murphy has ever done.There was no plot.No comedy.Lame action.They should have just made the first two and that's it.This as the worst sequel in the world.If you like this movie you must have no brain or taste in movies.

    A horrible way to end a great series

    This third installment in the greatest of the 'buddy cop' genre attempts to copy the same formula as the first two movies unsuccessfully. This can be attributed to the poor direction, (All production and direction in the first two films were done by... different people in this film) and a lackluster script. Stop with Beverly Hills Cop 2 and you'll feel fine about Axl, Billy, and John...if you continue to 3 you'll feel like the story wasnt givin a justified ending. Read more Less
