Eddie Murphy is back as Axel Foley, the maverick detective who took Beverly Hills by storm. Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and Jon Flint (Hector Elizondo) to hunt down the criminals, wreaking havoc at the popular park.     It should have been a warning sign to Eddie when the original producers to the first two movies didn't hop on board for the third. Nonetheless, Eddie stayed on board and gave the public a very underwhelming third installment to the "Beverly Hills Cop..." series. Everything that made the series so successful has been eliminated in this movie. Where's the split-second characterizations? Where's the exciting soundtrack? No Taggert or Bogimil? You got to be kidding. I can understand the point of showing Axel has in a sense grown up but him growing up doesn't ensure laughs. The plot is weak and the movie turns out to be a 100 minute show of sheer buffoonery. Let's just pray that this is the last one. Read more Less

    This movie is awful!It isn't funny. It doesn't have the feel of the previous two films.The so-called plot is so weak, its last week.where are Taggart and Bogimil?Do yourself a favor, if you want to see a good Beverly Hills Cop movie, don't even waste... your time on Cop 3 and get parts 1 and 2.
