I think that this movie was one of the best movies i have seen in a long time. i really like the outtakes, they were funny. i love the way that maggie and kim are together. it's like they have been together for a long time, but it's really only been about a week. that's how it is when you find true love.

From what little I'd heard of this movie before seeing it, I'd expected some kind of angst-filled "serious" movie that would have little connection to me. So, I was pleasantly surprised to find a somewhat serious, somewhat light-hearted story that, while still having little connection to me, was enjoyable. I found myself caring what happened to the characters (except the mom, who was totally annoying (which is perhaps what I was supposed to feel)), which always means it's a good movie.
The plot did get pretty thin near the end, as if they had to have the feel-good ending within a certain amount of time and didn't realize how much time had passed up toward that point, but for a fun movie, that's not such a sin.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoFabulous
Better Than Chocolate is easily one of the best movies I've seen this past year. My only disappointment was that it had such a short run in the theater! If you have the chance to go see it... go. You won't regret it.

Better Than Chocolate is one of the greatest films of all time. A true love story that will broaden the horizons of just about anyone. A must see...over and over and over again!
