The Best of Honey Cone, a tentrack budgetline overview, lacks the depth of Greatest Hits (released by Fantasy in 1990, and becoming more difficult to find with time) and the excellent twodisc set Soulful Sugar: The Complete Hot Wax Recordings (released by Sequel in 2001), but it does contain all nine of the group's charting singles including "Girls It Ain't Easy," "One Monkey Don't Stop No Show," "The Day I Found Myself," "StickUp," "Want Ads," and "Innocent 'Til Proven Guilty." It's a shame that there is over 40 minutes of blank space on the disc, but it contains enough to satisfy just about any casual Honey Cone fan. [Note: The contents of this release are identical to that of a disc with the same title released in 2006 by Collectables.]
