Great white is a terrific band, but the song list for this disc isn't great. Where is Angel Song?

A rather skimpy ten-track best-of that overlooks highlights from ...Twice Shy and inexplicably includes only one song from Hooked, a flaccid remake of the Small Faces' fiery "Afterglow." Still, key tracks like "Once Bitten, Twice Shy," "Rock Me," and "House of Broken Love" are here, and casual fans will be satisfied simply by having Great White's best-known songs on one disc.

Despite their lack of originality, the band was a tight unit that knew the value of a good song -- they covered Hun... Read more
