Avril has done it again releasing another awesome album. But this I think was her best yet!
Most of the songs on the album were rockin! including, Girlfriend, I Can Do Better, The Best D..n Thing, When Your Gone, Hot, Innocence, keep Holding On.
Definetly worth $15.00
This album is definetly the best d... thing there is. With Girlfriend telling about a girl who's a sorry excuse for a date.
I Can Do Better is about Avril chewing out a guy.
Best D... is about her being awesome.
When Your gone, is about never taking things for granted and many secrets youll have to find out!

Pros: An album with variety.
Cons: Explicit lyrics in some of the songs.
Avril Lavigne in an album with variety, from her cheer-leading element (Girlfriend, I Can Do Better, The Best Damn Thing) to the female version of some male rock acts (Everything Back But You, I Don't Have to Try). There's also good old Avril in Hot, One of Those Girls and Contagious.
But my favorites would have to be the care-free song Runaway and the beautiful sounding ballads (When You're Gone, Innocence and Keep Holding On).
Avril is swearing in some of the songs, but there's a clean version anyway. Despite claims of Avril being a "sell out" and stealing songs, The Best Damn Thing is a great album you can listen to without skipping some tracks in between.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoAvril Lavigne

Cons: Lyrics are dissapointing.
After her previous albums (which I enjoyed) and all the articles about how she's grown up...I have to say, I was a little dissapointed. The music is great, and there are a few good songs as well (Like Girlfriend, When you're gone & Keep holding on) but for the most part, the lyrics just didn't grow up enough...Somehow, I expected a much better album than what it is...too much pep and attitude and a few songs from the heart. Maybe next time...
