Pros: Great movie, lots of fun to watch great stars

    Cons: None

Really liked it! Joan, Judy and Diana all in one. Everyone who sees this movie ends up laughing with it instead of laughing at it! They don't make 'em like that anymore. People always enjoy horror circus movies-- where are the other ones that... were made in the 60's? Movies today can't compare to these movies or the stars. Hollywood was much better in the 60's and has gone downhill over the decades. Read more Less

Mommy Dearest goes to the circus! Wow!

Poor Joan Crawford--she was stuck in drek like "Berserk" at the end of her illustrious career. Really, she deserved much better than a bloody, cheaply-made "B" flick as an epitaph (actually, Joan went on to make "Trog," an even more heinous film). An...yway, "Berserk" is basically murder under the big-top, with somebody running around killing the low-lifes who inhabit this decidedly cheesy circus world. Joan is the show's owner, and she's verry used to getting her own way! If that means bedding much younger studs and prancing around in fishnet stockings, well, then, so be it! Watch how Crawford is very carefully lit (and I don't mean by alcohol) throughout "Berserk." Every time she turns around, her neck is in shadow. Never fails--it's in every scene! And the vaseline on the lenses! I thought my eyesight had failed me. Crawford was great in "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane," but she was unable to parlay this success into big-budget follow-ups. Instead, we saw her in "Straight-Jacket," "I Saw What you Did;" "Berserk;" and "Trog." How sad. Read more Less
