    Re : #30, #35

I have to admit the #30 post made me chuckle. But seriously, you guys have done nothing but go around every DMB review board and talk smack just to bring the user ratings down. You guys obviously haven't listened to all of those DMB albums (probabl...y not even one), and are jealous of the fact your favorite bands can't release a 5 star album (probably because they are not worthy of one).Either you feel their music or you don't. I don't understand how you can HATE a band so much after listening to them... unless you're jealous of them or just plain crazy. I've never listened to a band I didn't like and hated them that much simply because their songs didn't do it for me. You guys need help.Hey terps_325, why all the hate? You should be on cloud-9 since the terps won the national championship in bball. Read more Less

    BEST DMB ALBUM...EVER

By Yahoo! Shopping User  May 12, 2006

    Pros: Freakin' Amazing

    Cons: Only 11 tracks

I think that BTCS is easily their best work. It really shows Dave's songwriting capabilities and shows off their tremendous musical talents in the jam sessions. I love how each song sets its own mood; Halloween is almost downright frightening, wh...ile Stay has a light-hearted, upbeat feel to it. If you are as into DMB as I am, I know you will agree when I say that this is their best album. Buy this.. if you don't you will regret it and hate yourself for the rest of your life. Read more Less

The best just got better........ or did

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 13, 2001

So hands up who thought DMB last effort 'Crash' was good??? Well both my hands are up... (still I'd probably only give it 4/5 as a rating cause it was good but not the best!!!)Now on to 'Before..' ... well what can you say. Dave Matthews Band has c...aptured something so special within this collection of tracks. Something really clicked here, each track has its own theme, which conjures up images and feelings. *** Ingrediants for mixture ***A massive range of instruments from the usual guitars, drums, sax(s), bass, plus a banjo, a string quartet, a mandalin, etc.... thrown in with the brilliant vocals of Alanis Morrisette and led by one man (and his band) who are capable of writing 'A class' songs with thier brilliant ideas. This IS a development from Folk, Funk, Pop Matthews....You see the best just got better, this man is going down in History as one of the greatest modern composers of popular music.... believe me.BBString@hotmail.com Read more Less

    give him a chance people

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 19, 2001

yes, dave matthews does have worshippers, but you cant discredit him because of that. this cd is pure gold. The integration of banjo and string quartet make the entire cd a haunting and moving effort. this cd knocked titanic out of the #1 spot, so... you have to respect it for that. its not pop, its not country, its not rock, its dave matthews, and the fact that he totally stands alone and does not sound exactly like 14 other bands or any bands for that matter, warrants respect for this incredible artist. the dave matthews worship in this country scares me. this pajama pants wearing fool has no talent and i have a feeling if he recorded himself farting on a snare drum, you people would give it 5 stars.
