First off, I am a 20 year old male college student and I am reviewing the new DVD special edition version of the film. Overall, this a wonderful movie and the songs are excellent, especially "Be Our Guest." As far as DVD quality, I was a little dis...appointed with pixelization of some of the scenery. Most of the time it was ok especially when there was a lot of movement, but darker scenes just tended to look really digitized. Coming from Disney and with all the hype, I would have expected better. I also thought that as a DVD mostly for children that the game with Chip was pretty tough. They probably should have left the previews off of the startup too. But, I don't want to be too negative here. It's a lovely film and I would much rather have this DVD version than the VHS. Read more Less
