    I give this movie 5 stars because I find it to be jam packed with a witty story, a very talented cast, and an awesome soundtrack! The humor is really good, and the situation is so real to me. I saw it in the theater in 1996, and everytime I watch i...t I love it more. The acting is superb, maybe not oscar-typical subject matter, but examples of great actors in great roles. Natalie Portman is a stand-out, one of her first high profile roles, she just nails it perfectly. The setting is right on, too. It will remind you of your hometown, your friends and your life in so many ways, at least it sure did for me. And the icing on the cake is the soundtrack, it's excellent!     Beautiful Girls is one of those films that you can watch at any day and at any time of the year because it it pure fim making at its best.Set around the simple plot of Willie Conway(Hutton) coming home from his high school reunion, it sparks off his... and his ensemble of friends thoughts on life and love.The performances are perfect and how none of them got oscar nominations is a mystery, but the real standout is Natalie Portman who delivers on her acting promice we saw in Leon: The Professional.If you put theis film on when you're feeling bad, you'll end up feeling great.     This was a great movie, with a great cast. This is not a chick flick, even guys will enjoy it! It's basically about friendship and love, with alot of humor thrown in!     Loved it the first time I watched it and love it even more now. Funny how life goes by and you feel a different connection to this movie and characters than before. Would recommend this one to almost anyone
