Baxter
The Swedish electronica group Baxter was formed in Stockholm in 1996 by programmer Ricky Tillblad, guitarist/programmer Carl Herlofsson (who had played in a very early lineup of glam rockers Hanoi Rocks), and vocalist Nina Ramsby (ex-Salt); the former two had worked together as a drum'n'bass production team. A five-song demo recorded in early 1997 got Baxter a record deal with Maverick, which released their self-titled debut album in 1998.
