There is chaos in Gotham City; gang wars ensue, Arkham Asylum is under lockdown, and Commissioner Gordon is missing. Batman believes that the insane residents of the asylum have the Commissioner. Now he must use the sewers to get into the asylum where he will face many of his greatest enemies, including Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, and the Joker.

Helping the Dark Knight through his adventure are his many bat-gadgets and utilities.
