Pros: great balance of vocab and grammer, appendix makes advance learning possible

Cons: The chapters move violently through material

I am a lay person who became interested in reading the greek new testament. I started off with a helpful "learn greek in 15 minutes a day" workbook, but the book was fun,and helpful, but it was easy.I have friends in seminary and bible coll...ege who use this textbook and they swear by it (but of course they would cause they never used anything else...)The material is presented fast. Not something where you spend a day on a chapter. (I have a friend who spent 3 months on a chapter) I couldn't imagine going over this much material in a semester. But stand alone, it is awesome. DO NOT BUY WITHOUT ALSO BUYING THE WORKBOOK, it perfectly augments the textbook. There is no doubt why this is the best selling greek text. Read more Less
