Pros: It is rocking all the way throughout it

Cons: It is too short at just only 58 minutes! :)

Let's get it straight out in the open - I like rock music and I love the music of Lenny Kravitz. He was originally charged with just sounding like the 70's which I mean come on is not a bad thing to sound like! Thing of all the great music th...at came out from that time period. But now Lenny has adding cool hip hop sounds (he even raps a little bit - but in a good way, trust me when you hear it - on "Sounds Like Love") to his traditional rock sound. He is growing as a songwriter with song that pleads for world peace such as "World Peace" or a call to arms for all people to love other people ("People It Is Time To Love") which still manage to dare I say it sound sexy even though they're are serious songs! Not a bad accomplishment if you can pull that off and Lenny can! This is his best work since "Lenny Kravitz" CD and you must see him on his tours because he never disappoints. Do I like this? As Lenny Kravitz says, "YEAH!" Read more Less

Pros: Great songs and awsome cover!

Cons: Not one thing that I didn't like about it.

The CD was the best. I love every song on it. Lenny Kravitz is a genius. The beat is great in every song. I really like "Where are we runnin'" and "Baptized". "Baptized" has a good beat and a great spiritual message ...and story. "Where are we runnin'" is just a fun, fast- paced song for any onyone to enjoy. Phenominal, breathtaking, magnificiant, they all describe this CD. Read more Less

Biography

Lenny Kravitz

There may have been other "retro" rock acts before him, but Lenny Kravitz was one of the first to not be pigeonholed to a single style as he's touched upon such genres as soul, funk, reggae, hard rock, psychedelic, folk, and ballads over the years. Born in New York on May 26, 1964 (his mother was actress Roxie Roker, best-known for her role as Helen Willis on the popula... Read more
