    DANGEROUS!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Aug 13, 2009

    Pros: Fun

    Cons: Dangerous!

My grandsons had a lot of fun with this, but after about the 5th charging, the battery exploded - blowing the whole nose cone off the cruiser!! It was so forceful it ripped the plastic around the 4 screws holding the cone on. I was sitting on the si...de of the pool and my 3 grandsons were standing in front of me when I turned it on. THANK GOODNESS it just missed them. With that kind of force, it could have been totally devastating, if it had hit one of them in the head or face. Don't buy this!! Read more Less

    Horrible Device and Company

    By craig_huffman2001  Jun 19, 2009

    Pros: None

    Cons: Electrocution Hazard

Bought this neat device in expectation for our ten year old son. We unpackaged it with no need for much assembly, removed the battery, charged it with the provided charger for 8 hours, then let it have him to use in our pool. It worked for about 15 m...inutes, then stopped. We thought it needed more charge so took the top off with the screws and I was shocked by electrocution off the device as it was totally surrounded by water around the 12 volt battery. It burned my hands and fingers like a light socket. Upon inspection we found there was NO RUBBER SEAL RING at all installed in the top unit of the machine. There was nothing to assemble so this was not a problem in assembly. Tried to call the company five times and was disconnected while on hold for average of ten minutes. Pursuing legal action now.
