Featuring bassists Matthew Henninger and Cameron McLaughlin, Michiganbased sixpiece ensemble Balancing Act play an organic mixture of funk, neosoul and groove jazz. Also showcasing the talents of guitarist Gjergji "George" Theka, drummer/vocalist Jonathan Ovalle, organist Joshua Shilling and vocalists Madeline Davis and Angel Bond, Balancing Act released its selftitled debut album in 2005.
