This is the best album you will ever buy - its just so smooth (criminal), sexy (the way u make me feel) and just simply amazin (man in the mirror, leave me alone, dirty diana). The bonus tracks on the special edition version too are outstanding thoug...h it is understandable why streetwalker (too similar to the way u make me feel) and fly away (doesnt fit with the mood of the rest of the album) didnt make the album. What a Bad ass album...

Pros: Has atleast 5 songs that you already know the words too.

Cons: The song Streetwalker should have been on the original album.

6 number one singles off the second biggest selling album ever WHOA (the biggest being Michael Jacksons previous album Thriller)

This album has absolutly everything to entertain you. Every song is its own story and its Just Totally worth buying!!!

Equal if not Better than thriller

Michael wrote every song on this album except two. This just shows how genius he is. First album ever to have 5 number ones off one album. This album underrated cuz it constantly gets compared to thriller. But the truth is this album is equal if not ...better than thriller. And that's the bottom line right there, that is a fact. I love the title track especially the film. I do wish that there was a video for Liberian Girl and Good Friends featuring Stevie Wonder. Smooth Criminal is my favorite and the video compliments the song a lot. I dislike Alien Ant Farm's version but I... love that guitar rift.No other words to say about the album but good. FLY AWAY MICHAEL

The other day I downloaded an MP3 of Michaels song "Fly Away" and I fell in love with the song. For MJ fans who do or don't have the "Bad" album "Fly Away" is another reason to buy the album. It's on the remastered edition only. Also there is a song ...called "Streetwalker" you will notice that the intro to it is identical to how Michael starts out performing "The Way You Make Me Feel" I haven't heard that song yet but I'm sure its good. My personal favorite MJ album...

All in all I think this is the best MJ albumalthough most of his die-hard fans will tell you Dangerous is. This album has a dark theatrical feel (Helped largely by the Roland D50 which seems to be used on every track...literally) MJ adopts this cool ...macho rock & roll voice for the uptempo songs and weaves his usual magic on the ballads. There's alot of drama to the songs and music plus the singing & production is incredibaly smooth and polished.He really went to town with vocal percussion and his own now trademark sounds which you either love or hate.Michael wrote most of the songs on Bad which is a practice which I usually prefer. In my opinion...this was the end of an era...to this day MJ has never bettered Bad in terms of songwriting, vision, creativity or singing which is tragic :(As I recall this was a cutting edge album in 1987 which was really a sign of the times...MJ was like America's flagship pop artist and the most famous person on the planet.BTW I'd never rate any album with 5 stars...there's always room for improvement. i have been a fan all my life and i have all of his vidoes and albums (including the stunning new album "invincible" which is off the hook!) and this album reminds me of when i was a kid at school when me and my friends were trying to learn how to do... the moonwalk, and when i went to see him in concert at wembley in london WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! and my class in school watched moonwalker the film every friday before the weekend kicked off, my god what great memory my faviourite tracks are BAD, i love the beat to that and the video is wicked, THE WAY YOU MAKE ME FEEL very sexy!, SPEED DEMON good song but the video is much better, LIBERIAN GIRL makes me cry, JUST GOOD FRIEND is funny, very nice, ANOTHER PART OF ME one of the best i remember that at the concert MAN IN THE MIRROR, i love this track it makes me think, remember that at the concert aswell, I JUST CAN'T STOP LOVING YOU, gives me goose bumps, the spanish version heheheheh is soooooo funny and weird but it's still sounds good, now my faviourite DIRTY DIANA, i love this to bits it's AWESOME!
