
Based in Bloomington, IL, Backyard Tire Fire is an altcountry trio led by singer, songwriter, slide guitarist and former Brother Jed member Ed Anderson with his brother Matt Anderson on bass and Tim Kramp on drums. The band released the eponymous Backyard Tire Fire album in 2003 before going with O.I.E. Records for that same year's Live at the Georgia Theatre, recorded at an October 23, 2002 show. Bar Room Semantics followed in 2005, the Skin and Bones EP in 2006 and Vagabonds and Hooligans in 2007, all on O.A.E.
