Disciple - Back Again (CD)

Unbelievable CD!!

Disciple is a band that shows you that you can worship the Lord with all you have and still be able to pump out some major metal. It is true that Disciple has been around in 1996 and they have not wavered from their aggression or the message of salva...tion and hope. In this day and age, it is hard to find a Christian hard rock band that doesn't water down what they believe, but Disciple is certainly an exception to this. Whether you like metal rock or not, one cannot deny the unbelievable passion that Disciple puts into all their songs. There is no doubt that they are on fire for the Lord and I pray that these guys will continue making such awesome music for years to come. I picked up this CD after I picked up their latest, which was also really good, but I didn't realize how hard of a band they were until I listened to this CD. However, this of course is not a bad thing as you cannot help to praise the Lord and sense the passion they have within every song. I have never been someone who particularly took a liking to heavy metal, but with Disciple, this has changed. They prove that you don’t have to praise the Lord with a certain type of music or in some socially acceptable way, but that any musical type can be used to praise the Lord. Overall, an excellent CD.
