Cons: not external option available, converstion sometimes "fails", no high speed dubbing
You can find many ways to transfer old casettes into digital formats. This definitley simplifies the process. No need to hook up cassette playes and cables repeatedly. Install was relatively simple. The conversion of files is an easy process, I do not recomment using the "track seporator" option. Convertong cassette to one huge MP3 and then using a sound editor (I use Roxio) to split tracks and adjust tape noise is a definite must. No high speed dubbing available and I have found that if you are converting a cassette don't work on the PC (can create converstion issues), also sometimes the conversion has massive "noise" which requires having to redo which you will not know until you spent the time to convert the whole tape.
Overall, it has made the process simple and it is worth the money considerinf I need to convert about 400 cassettes. ...
