I absolutely loved this move. I own it and watch it often. You must get the others in the series as well. Seth Green is great as Scott Evil, and the multi-talented Mike Myers characters, Powers & Dr. Evil are delightfully funny.

Seeing Austin Powers 2 before seeing this one probably affected my opinion. I really liked Austin Powers 2 but the jokes in this movie aren't as funny as the jokes in its sequel.

This movie was ten times better than the first, the flying object scenes were soooo damn funny, very original and of course the tent scene. Good stuff, more ridiculous than the first one.

The first Austin Powers was better than the second. The first one had more laughs although the second one is funny still. I would give the second one a 3.5 and the first a 5. I recommend that you buy the first one but rent the second.

Overall it wasn't as original as the first Austin Powers movie. A lot of jokes from the first movie were recycled here; suprisingly they were just as funny the second time, but only a few scenes (the tent scene and Dr. Evil singing to Mini-Me) seemed new and unique. I know what Mike Myers' sense of humor is. If it's funny, STICK WITH IT! Untill the bitter end. Still, the movie is funny, and it has some great moments that I'm sure we'll see in Austin Powers 3. First time I saw it i was sorely disappointed. On the whole I thought it couldn't compare to the first one. Shameless sexual inuendos throughout the movie. Saw it when I was "up" and laughed my #ss off!!

Looking for laughs...this is it. Mike Myers has a keen eye for picking out the best (and funniest) parts of the 60's and the old spy movies. Makes we wish I was a bit older so I could have enjoyed the glory of free love, rock 'n roll and life in the 60's
