    In the early seventies funk music was being inundated with heavy grooves with mindless,sex oriented lyrics and music playing that emphasized the new sound of the synthesizer rather than the players chops. This unique album unites a consumate keyboard... player with one who explores the boundaries of the new instument. George Duke employs two of the greatest funk sidemen, Ndugu Chanceller and Alphonso Johnson and with them takes the funk idiom to dizzying heights.
