    Strong Comeback

    This CD is the best out there, but it is nothing compared to there original's. They need to regain the flavor they had in Breakadawn. Too many guest appearances to hear what they are really about.

    Van Dam! They finally did it. They finally decided to update their music just so they could fit in better and sell more records. It aint all good if selling a lot of records means not being true to yourself. Maybe they've changed but it doesn't seem... like a good thing to me. I can imagine if the De La of the early years could listen to what kind of music they would be making in year 2000. I don't think they would like it anymore than me. The day I bought this CD is the same day that I became disapointed in these guys. They once were my favorite group but never no more. Read more Less

    In Comparison to De La's previous 4 albums, this album comes off as the most comercially viable. I've been a true de la head since the beginning and it seems with this release de la has evolved yet again. The group is back to having fun again, as mo...st of the tracks on Mosaic thump exhibit a carefree feel that hasn't been heard since the days of 3 feet high and rising. Although Mosaic Thump is definently above par compared to what is currently out, for De la it seems like sort of a bland album that is flooded with guest apperances that will cause a greater appeal to the mainstream, and possibly generate more sales. In this process they seem to lose some of their creativity lyrically and production wise. While definently thumpin I hope the next installment of the 3 part series will get back to the raw conscious lyrics like that of Stakes is High and focus more on the group with less guest appearances.
