    This film is ear and eye candy by the best! It's a collection of famous directors' short films set to their favorite aria. I've always thought it was great on VHS, but on DVD...WOW!This film is a delight, even if you aren't an opera fan. This is true...ly abstract art. Read more Less

    I've only seen this once, and although only an opera buff would stand listening through the whole movie, one nice feature here is the presence of Valerie Allain, who happens to be the actress portraying Mireille in the "French in Action" public telev...ision course. The sequence in which she appears is mindboggling... makes me want to shag... badly. Schwing! Read more Less

    An interesting fusion of film talent from a vast array of talent. The Ken Russell, Charles Sturridge, and Franc Roddam pieces are the best, but each short has something unique to offer.
