Pros: A lot of memory for a lot of songs
Cons: Kind of on the big side while working out.
I highly recommend this. It is great for working out or listening to music you like at work. At work I just plug in the sound cable right into my I-Pod and can listen to the music through the speakers.
I have different type of music in different catagories. Example: work out music, Jimmy Buffett music, slow music, etc..

I have had my 40G iPod since 2003. Mine is so old they don't even show it on this site! I have the scroll wheel and 4 button iPod.
I am now on my third and this one has lasted the longest out of all of them. I had to get it replaced under warrenty twice because of product failure. To get this done you have to physically go into the GeniusBar and have them determine it's not useable and then send it in to Apple. They supply you with a refurbished iPod of the same generation on the spot.
I think the newer iPods have better Window's compatablilty, weight and options. I would definitly reccommend the 40gig for anyone with a decent sized music collection.
I have liked this product so far, but I wish I would have held out for the Cowan iAudio instead...Was this review helpful? Yes - No
