Cons: It can't do games without special programs (like crossover)
I got this computer for video editing and I love it. I am running Final Cut Express on it for now while I save up the money to get Final Cut Pro. I have built many Windows computers and I must say, I don't know how they get all the parts into the case and not have it overheat. It is a mystery to me...
There is one thing I must say though, NEVER EVER change your short name by right clicking on the home buttion in the finder nad selecting "rename". It will screw everything up. All your programs will forget who you are, you will lose your iPhoto libary and you will have to find it on your hard drive. iChat will forget all of it's log in information. Just don't do it.
I love my mac! ...

Pros: ease of use, many freeware programs, huge monitor yet takes little desktop space.
Cons: no card reader built in,
This is my first mac and I fretted about buying one but now I wish I had done it sooner. It was very easy to figure out how to operate. The first one I brought home the built in camera did not work I called Apple techand they set up an appointment at the closest store to my home when I got there within 10 minutes I had a brand new computer and was happy to be served so well.... do wish it had a card reader but I will get over that...All in all I would make this purchase again.... ...
