Good design leaves nothing to chance. Great design anticipates it. No surprise, then, that MacBook features little touches - like a klutz-proof power adapter and a nifty magnetic latch - that make your computing experience as streamlined as MacBook itself.

No power cord, no Ethernet cable, no headphone jack, no wires. No problem. With a long battery life and built-in AirPort and Bluetooth, you can get online virtually anywhere. It's not magic. It's MacBook.

Pros: Fast, Reliable, and awsome keyboard (spaced nicely)

    Cons: Edging around computer

I've been using PC's as long as I can remember, and I didn't like the things I heard about Windows Vista. I decided that instead I would try an Apple b/c of all the features it has on it. The software it comes with (i.e. iLife...) is very user friendly, and fun to work with. You can record music in Garageband, and it sounds professionally done, which is the major reason why I got this one. The other software included is iPhoto, iDVD, iCal, iMovieHD, and iWeb. There are a few others, but all in all it's pretty well made. I thought at first it would be really hard to get used to, but it really is user friendly like Apple states. If you're looking for a gaming computer, then this computer is not for you. You will have to step it up and by the less compact MacBook Pro. Between the two there is not much of a difference. A few features that the Pro model has and the regular doesn't is the keyboard is a bit different on it. It is regularly spaced out like a normal keyboard, and the keys light up. Also, the screen dims itself. The other major differences are just memory, hard drive space, screen size, and the graphics card. In my opinion I would say that the MacBook is the way to go as long as you don't plan on playing any games. Also, the only difference between the black 2ghz model and the white 13" model is that the hard drive on the white model is 80gb whereas the black one is 120, so basically you're paying for the color and the larger hard drive. I've also read alot of reviews on this laptop as well, and it has been getting better ratings than the Pro models anyway Read more Less

    Loved It

I will never forget the first day that we met. I know we had seen each other in passing. But I am talking that first day that we made a connection. It was a hot summers day in May, I remember you were wearing white. You loved white, I swear you wore ...it everyday. I turned you on and you changed my life. My friends were always jealous of you and your good looks. Not only were you fetching but you added fun to an area of my life that had never known fun before, it was as refreshing as lemonade on a hot summers day. Even though there was always your obvious outside attraction, but it’s the inside that counts, other people are just drawn to your simplicity and all that you have to offer. I am not trying to name drop here, but you have such influential friends like Bono and John Mayer to list a few. They say something’s come into your life for a season and others come in and you will never be the same again. You were that for me Apple Computer. You were my best companion and you changed my life. We have so many memories that we share that I don’t even know where to begin. For so many years you have held my life in your hands. Your Automator used to wake me up to my favorite playlist every morning and then I would drink a cup of coffee with you while we began the day’s work. If you can even call it work, you made my life so much easier. You have always been so reliable and you never got sick. Everyday you always looked so sharp. What I really want to know is how you have stayed so skinny with all that you consumed. I love how your dashboard kept everything I needed from a dictionary to metronome at the push of a button. You’re always selfless, taking time out of your schedule when you showed me how to make my own widget. Mail allowed me to always receive my email as they came in. It kept me organized with note taking in Pages and even managed my to do’s alongside my events in iCal. I would never have remembered anything without that. It was so nice that I could access it anywhere I needed. All the memories you used to allow me to share with the Mail stationary templates. They were even PC compatible, you were always thinking of others. Speaking of PCs, remember how inferior they always felt to your superior operating systems? So they decided to create Vista modeled after you. It still didn’t compare, they even demoed it on a Mac. That sure was embarrassing for them. I remember when on iChat with Michelle she really thought I was on the beach, when I was using the virtual backgrounds to make it look like I was really there. For her sake I wish we could say that it only happened once. When iChat it allowed simultaneous control of a single Mac desktop between Kristen and I, that really helped us plan that trip out to SG. That was a blast. I am so glad you are small enough that I was able to take you with me were ever I went. Then I thought my memories were gone when I deleted all my photos from iPhoto, all 3,084 of them. Once again you saved me thanks to your Time Machine with one swoop you recovered them all. Then iChat allowed me to share iPhoto snap shops and do live video feeds of keynote addresses. Ok I know, I didn’t do any keynotes but my friends really did like looking at my vacation photo’s over it. Oh I can’t forget Garage Band. Can you believe some of the tracks that I recorded on it, now that’s what I call a rough cut. But it was the stuff we recorded on that program that ended up getting us signed. I am eternally grateful. iMovie & iDVD is what gave the initial life to S&M Productions, Stephanie & Michelle Productions that is. Those have really been some fun projects. With all that’s going on, Spaces has really helped me organize all my projects. .Mac syncing has really by keeping my settings, not matter where I am. Always being on the go, it really helps me feel at home if I am somewhere else for it to feel that I am on my own computer. My favorite times are the late nights we would spe Read more Less
