    Pros: OS X works virtually flawlessly. It is worlds more reliable and easy to use than Windows.

    Cons: Having to pay for an upgrade in versions of OS X seems a little ridiculous.

    I switched to Macs over a year ago, and I advise everyone who has trouble with Windows to do the same. With Apple, things just work like they're supposed to. Now I spend my time using my computer not trying to fix it constantly.

    Pros: Stable, reliable, no Microsoft blue screen of death

    Cons: Apple hardware more expensive

    I purchased a G5 1.6 about 4 weeks ago and I must say I am very pleased with the overall system. I have experienced no problems or difficulties with this OS and find it to be the most reliable that I have ever worked with. Exposé is a big plus and... offers a great solution for switching between applications. The transparency with which the OS functions is superior, making Windows transfers effortless. This is my first Apple and I must say I am very impressed and far more secure with the system operations than I have been with others in the past. Read more Less
