This Movie was excellent. It had the right combination of actors. I played football and the reality is that stuff really does happen on and off the field.

Ein Film der euch begeistern wird. Nicht nur Footballfans sondern jeden. Warum wohl sind so viele Stars dabei. Eine atemberaubende Atmosphere bildet sich durch die grossartige Regie von Starregisseur Oliver Stone Der Film mit den besten und realsten Footballszenen mit Hilfe von Starfootballspieler wie Terrell Owens und Legende Lawrence Taylor. Witzig, spannend und ein richtiges Drama mit einer top Performance von Jamie Foxx

I Loooooveee this movie. LL looked amazing in his tight little uniform, all those muscles popping out. And I know all the other ladies will agree, the locker room scene made your eyeballs pop out onto the floor, right? If you haven't seen it, look for the locker room scene and you'll see what I'm talking about.

This superb flick "ain't over 'til" the final credits are over. A big "W" for Stone. Pacino, Fox & Diaz are T.H.E. Coach, QB, and Ownerette. Memo to Oliver: Have the costume (FB uniform) designer whacked in your next script.)

If you like Football, it has everything to get you into the game. The camerawork is hectic and it's for a reason, and thats to get you into the film. I thought it was a very good movie.

I am very greatful that I only rented this movie. Lord forbid that I may have spent $7.00 a ticket to watch it at the theater or worse yet bought it on DVD. The movie basically took every negative thing that has ever happened or been rumored to have happened in football and attributed them to one team. I thought that with Al Pacino the movie couldn't be to bad. Well thats what I get for thinking. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother to rent this one.

I thought this was a horible movie it had little to no story with horible acting I thought Al Pachino could have done a way better job and i stronglt disliked this movie... P.S. If any of you people out there have rented this stinker burn it iddmeadiatly...

This was the worst football movie I have ever watched! I thought the acting was okay but the movie itself was very hard to sit through!

The movie is Oliver Stone covering something he does not know a lot about and highlighting everything that is wrong with football. Sadly, it does not give any real insights on what it is like to play pro football and the game sequences are completely unrealistic (running option plays to gain 50 yards with no time left?).

The movie was so fake and the acting not at all

This movie sucked bigtime. oooohh oliver stone directed it so that means its good i forgot. what was with all the training sequences and overdone camera work. this movie just tried way to hard to impress and fell flat

I think "Any Given Sunday" (life is a contact sport) is a great movie. The whole story line is great maybe a little far fetched in ceartin places (like when the guys eye flew out on the field and when the linebacker threw the gator in the shower). But other than that I thought that the movie was great. Except for two other things: 1. I think that The "BIG" thing in the locker room was shown too long if you've seen the movie then you know what I'm talkin about, and 2. I think that since Cameron Diaz was in the film that there should have been a little more nudity.

This movie is bummin, Foxx tearin up the field so is LL and Bellemy. It shows what football all about, the hittin, the huddle, the practice, the whole enchalada. This movie deserve a 5 not for the director but the truth about football.

Anyone who is complaining about how the football part was horrible and that the whole movie was boring is losing sight of the point of the movie. Let's not forget Oliver Stone directed the movie. The movie isn't just for football fans its for everyone. It tells a story on every level and relationship: Owners, coaches, managers, players, family, life, fans, and sacrifice. Football was just the platter Stone served it on. Don't get turned off if you don't like football just pay attention to the script. Excellent cast, excellent movie.

You don't have to like football to enjoy this movie. Oliver Stone, with his talent for documentary-like features, will take you inside the industry (because that's what it is), with no compromise. The acting is excellent. Cameron Diaz proves she can do something else than comedy as a tough manager who shakes hands with the guys in the locker room, Pacino is at his best, and Jamie Foxx is amazing. Dennis Quaid gives probably one of his best performances. Oliver Stone even casted himself as a sport commentator, and obviously had some fun doing it. Lots of humor too.
The soundtrack is loud, powerful, and eclectic, but mostly hip hop and big beat.
My disappointment was with the DVD, which has no bonus material that is worth watching. The movie deserved at least an audio commentary from the director.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoStoney boy not bad!!
This film is good an must see for those many Oliver stone Fans. Although the movie is slow moving for the first hour & half it really does Pick up pace for the end. This is a good football movie with an EXCELLENT cast. Not one bad piece of acting

Any given sunday is a good movie about the politics of football. now football is my favorite sport and this a really realistic picture about football.

This movie was by far the best football movie I've ever seen. The movie is the shortest 2 1/2 hours of your life. You will be watching this movie again and again, catching something new everytime you watch it.

i luved this movie. I luv football. I liked the football parts. When they push and pull eachother in the game. That was the best part. But it could've been better if Cameron Diaz has a boyfriend and have sex or go to bed together. I luved this movie. The realistic football scenes just pulled me into the movie. it's a good movie.

I did not like this movie, it went to fast, had to many character's that were not defined, the best part of the movie was the ending when al, stole the quarterback from cameron diaz's character. this is a bad movie.

Didn't really like this film...went on far too long making the viewer lose interest and there were too many football scenes which were very boring to watch. Made the viewer want to switch off and go to sleep. Very surprised because I like the 2 main characters-Cameron Diaz and Al Pacino but even they couldn't save this dull film!

Oliver Stone's latest is definitely among his best work to date...from the beginning to the end, scene after scene of heart pounding action of football...terrific story and drama behind the scenes of professional football...excellent acting by Al Pacino...must see for football fans

sitting in the theatre wathching this piece of art at work was just exilerating. especially the game scenes, the ball is hiked and all hell breaks lose, the barbarians go for blood- def. a good guy flick!!

This movie was good, Al Pacino was good, along with LL and Jamie. Maybe you have to be a football fan to understand it and like it, but I think it was good. I'll be one of the first to get it on DVD.
